- Polycystic kidney disease- There are instances when certain cysts appear in your kidneys; however, they are quite harmless. But, polycystic kidney diseases is a genetic disorder that is more harmful than the usual cysts. This disorder causes the small cysts to grow in the kidneys and interferes with the function of the kidney which in turn can result in kidney failure.
- Glomerulonephritis- This is a condition which affects the glomeruli, the tiny blood vessels in the kidneys. It causes inflammation of the glomeruli which obstructs the functioning of the kidneys. It may be caused due to infections or drugs.
